Brenda Hernandez

General Operations Manager,Vice President(CalBRE#01311626)

My name is Brenda McClellan, and I am one of the proud Co-Owner’s and Broker of Fohl & Hernandez Real Estate.

I started working with Les Fohl in 1998, at the young age of 19. I was hired on as a Data Entry Clerk in what was supposed to be a “summer job”, but as fate would have it, I quickly moved into the receptionist position and within just a couple of years, I was promoted to Listing Coordinator, Transaction Coordinator, and then Office Manager… I can truly say “I’ve done it all here” … It’s been quite a ride, but I wouldn’t change a thing.

I acquired my Real Estate License in 2001, and became a Broker just 4 years later, in 2005. During the first 15 years of my years with the company, my primary roles were generally in office management and overseeing of the transactions, but in the recent years, I’ve taken on the role of primary Listing Broker and Buyer Representative. It wasn’t something I saw myself doing early in my career, but I’ve jumped in and I’ve got to say, I absolutely love it. My experience deep down in the trenches during the initial years have provided me with the experience that most Realtors will never have.

Although I was born in Oakland, I have actually lived in Hayward my entire life. I am a true “Haywardian”. I attended Longwood Elementary, Ochoa Junior High, and Mount Eden until my sophomore year when I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. After 13 months of Chemo-Therapy and a few months of recovery thereafter, I was quickly back to school and graduated from Hayward Adult (previously Sunset High), just 3 months after my class at Mount Eden.

I have a beautiful son named Race who keeps me very busy when I’m not out helping Buyers and Sellers accomplish their goals. If I may ever be of service to you or anyone you know, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. It would be my privilege and true pleasure to serve you. También Hablo Español!
